GP Powerplants BV was founded halfway through the year of 2008 by Gijbert Kreling en Pietro van Genderen, a strong collaboration that effectually combines their views and experience. They are two (chrysanthemum cultivation) entrepeneurs from the Bommelerwaard with more than 30 years experience and more than 15 hectares of glass divided over 3 chrysantemum nurseries.

GP Powerplants is an organisation that believes in cooperation. Our philosophy is that with cooperation, within our own organization as well as with our customer, we can achieve more than each individual for themselves.

GP Powerplants works with professional staff in a fully automated, computer controlled greenhouse. This automatic high technology combined with our cultivation process leads to the high quality bright coloured and large flowered “Powerplants Caladiva”

The “Powerplants Caladiva” are well developed. The plants have an excellent constitution i.e. the leaves are not dominating and the batches of plants have great uniformity.

Aware of our responsibilities to society we strive for efficient and efficacious use of gas and electricity and a minimal use of pesticides and plant growth regulators.
